Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao turned heads at the promotional event for “Laapataa Ladies,” – Kiran’s directorial comeback after a decade.
The dynamic duo, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, graced the promotional event for the much-anticipated film, “Laapataa Ladies,” in absolute style. Aamir sported a suave look in a trendy jacket and pants, perfectly complemented by his signature geek glasses. On the other hand, Kiran Rao exuded elegance in a chic high-neck top paired with stylish high-waist pants.
The promotional extravaganza also welcomed the film’s talented cast, including Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, and Sparsh Shrivastav. The entire ensemble posed for a delightful photo-op, creating a buzz around the movie.

For those unaware, “Laapataa Ladies” is a directorial venture by Kiran Rao and is produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions. This film marks Kiran Rao’s return to the director’s chair after a hiatus of over a decade.
The movie, based on an award-winning story by Biplab Goswami, had the honor of a screening at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) last year. The screenplay and dialogues are crafted by Sneha Desai, with Divyanidhi Sharma contributing additional dialogues.
Sharing the film’s poster, Aamir Khan Productions teased the audience with the caption, “Ab milega Laapataa Ladies ka pata 5th January 2024 ko, aapke nazdiki cinema gharon mein (Now we will get the location of the lost women, on January 5 in your nearest theatres.)”
Apart from their professional collaboration, Kiran Rao recently shared glimpses of a delightful road trip with Aamir Khan and their son Azad. The family, including their furry friend, looked picture-perfect, showcasing the bond they continue to share post their divorce announcement in July 2021. The couple remains devoted to co-parenting their son Azad, proving that their journey together goes beyond the realms of marriage.

The performing artist wore a 30 kg ghagra in Goliyon ki Raasleela: Slam Leela. Her equip was outlined by Anju Modi and was 50 meters long. Too, the one ensemble that gathered the foremost consideration was the one she worn within the Ghoomar tune from the film Padmaavat.

According to reports, the equip weighed around 30kgs and the adornments for the tune was lovely. It had taken over 200 craftsmen, 600 days and 400 kg of gold to induce the pieces right for the tune.

Ever the quick-witted hero, Aamir tried to reason that the car wasn’t actually his. But, alas, destiny had other plans, and Aamir missed out on being the assistant director of Mr India.
So, there you have it – the tale of Aamir Khan’s ‘car-mical’ audition for Mr India. Who knew a four-wheeled companion could decide the fate of a Bollywood dream?
